This class is for young players and players that are new to the game.

​Shooting success is a function of several factors.  The first and foremost is correct form. Unfortunately, young players often develop bad shooting habits because that's the only way they can get a shot up to a 10 foot goal or make a three.  This class is designed to cover the fundamentals of shooting the basketball.

We will focus on 2 vital areas of shooting: shot mechanics and footwork.
  • Shot Mechanics
    • Through repetition players will develop correct form and the muscle memory to make consistent shots.  To graduate, a player must be able to show consistent and confident shot mechanics.
  • Footwork
    • The player will learn the foundation of proper footwork that is used to build a “Total Player.”
