INTERMEDIATE SKILLS
BALL HANDLING, FOOTWORK, AND SHOOTING

This class will build on basic basketball skills to give the player an opportunity to succeed in school and competitive situations.  We will focus on:

• Dribbling in self-space with both the preferred and the non-preferred hand using a mature pattern.
• Dribbling in general space with control of ball and body while increasing and decreasing speed Combines hand dribbling with other skills during one-on-one and partner practice tasks.
• Develop ball handling and moves in general space at slow to moderate jogging speed with control of ball and body.
